Hello everyone! Today, for Vlogmas #6, I painted with watercolours a piece called Winter Magician ❄️ I wanted to practice painting with watercolours and I thought I would only paint using shades of blue. It was a bit hard sometimes, even more considering that I don’t own a lot of colours, but I’m quite happy with the result!
I sketched the idea yesterday night, just before going to bed. I wanted a girl with a big fluffy coat and her pet artic fox. She turned then into a ‘magician’ with her glass staff. Let’s say her powers are related to… winter, snowflakes and snow 😀
In terms of supplies I used a 300g watercolour paper by CLairefontaine, watercolours quads by Sakura and another unknow brand… I also used my Faber-Castell watercolour pencils and my Sakura Koi watercolour brushpens. And for the masking fluid by Royal Talens. I really like this stuff! Not only it is very useful but the peeling part is really satisfying.
Now, this is the video, let me know what you think!
